That would disrupt the volt-seconds across the core, the voltage rise is necessary for the flyback topology to function.
A circuit would help Teslacoolguy. A note about what you're doing, you might find smps projects fun, but I absolutely hate them. I've found them far more complicated than any normal project, more time consuming and no where near as rewarding. Of course I assume you started this because you need a power supply to continue this project, catch-22.

Correct i did start this because i needed a psu for a crt I am running the circut the same way i would run a single mosfet flyback transformer except i replaced the 555 circut with a function gen. I am doing some more research on flyback inverters so i hope that gets me someware.
