Depends how experimental you want to get! If your after something thats highly likely to just work, and work well I'd go for Steves drivers for sure (first two on your list) , however the Minibrute ( third) is very simmilar , and well proven as well. I believe the second image is Steves current scheme, so I'd look at that one first, I'm sure Steve can offer some guidence here. If you want to go a bit experimental you could try my current driver , its essentially the same thing again just with a few less components, but note I have not even run it in the real world myself yet! Just done simulations, as I'm waiting for the boards to arrive for the final build.
So in summary, my advice would be Steve Wards 2008 driver (second image) with descreet output bridge, should be good for biiig IGBT's, there are a few people building these up at the moment so you'll have some peer support as well.
None of these drivers require an oscilator to start, they can all use either primary or secondary base feedback via a CT (or even an antenna), but primary feedback is definately reccommended for DRSSTC work. Also they all provide the all important Over Current Detection again using a CT on the primary ( the minibrutes OCD is on another sheet of the circuit diagram).

Hi there,
I'm using a customized version of Steve's old driver, and that one worked for me like a charm, from the beginning ... I'm still at testing, but I'm having good results up to now! Since I haven't tried the other two, I can't tell anything about them, but the one I tried is really good enough for your first DRSSTC (is my first one, too )
