A while ago I bought two non working Ionic Breeze brand air purifiers on eBay with intentions of fixing them. Neither of them powered on at all. I ended up taking them apart and in one a fuse was blown so I replaced it (can't remember if I legitimately replaced it or just jumped it, haha . . .) and the main lights powered on. It still didn't function though. I vaguely remember poking around in the circuits a bit and cutting some control wires (I resoldered and taped them) for better access to some parts but I didn't desolder anything. Time passed and I never got around to doing any more. Now I lack the time and effort to fix them and I figured someone on here (I keep dropping hints in topics if anyone has noticed) might want them to repair or for parts. For a fix, the one that powers on might need its high voltage circuit driver fixed - it didn't look terribly complicated.
Parts-wise, both have high voltage transformers and driver/control circuits, and you could remove the HV circuit, replace it with your own, and experiment with ionic filtering, etc.

If you want any more pics or info feel free to ask.
$20 takes them both - this is really just to cover shipping because they are bulky and heavier than you'd imagine. I'd rather not ship them separately but if no one wants them both I will.
I will also trade for anything of equal value - something unique or high voltage related - I'm looking for high current diodes (>120 amp - 4 for a bridge) but make me an offer.
