Lets see, its found in:- CD/DVD plastic, epoxy resin, most drink containers, paints, etc yadayada. And to add insult to injury obese people are more likely to drink from cans containing it, so of course the levels are going to be higher.

Yeah, this stuff is better known in the U.S. simply as "BPA", and has been making news for a while now because of product recalls (particularly plastic baby bottles) involving it. My wife and I recently had our second child, and decided there was no point taking risks we didn't have to take; we went with all glass baby bottles. They're nicer anyway
