Stroker II

Finally finished the last step of "Stoker II" DRSSTC engine....the snubber cap module. I was a little bit of a tight fit with those big 1.0uf/1600V CDE's. Stroker II was engineered by Dr. Spark and uses two CM600's in a 1/2 bridge configuration. The CM600 Hooper Drivers can be seen mounted on top of the CM600's. Hope to start winding the secondary soon.

A well thought out design, and immaculately executed. amazed
Beautifull buswork, the cornerstone of every successfull DRSSTC. shades
At the end of the show, I was astonished that the editing software had not run out of transition effects. (liked the one with the CD that came rolling on the floor) cheesey

However: Was that a piece of electro galvanized steel allthread I saw you pass the current monitors on to?. cry

Well, I finally found some time to work on Stroker II. Here are some pics:

Now I have started on the power supply. Dual 20A Variac, meters, I will set this up to operate on dual voltage source: 120 or 240AC input.
