I have two 9kv 60ma NST's in parallel that I use on one of my 4" coils. It works great for indoor demos with limited space. I haven't measured exactly but I would say it discharges 3 foot + arcs or so.

12kv/120mA -3" coil did around 6ft indoors when it was properly tuned. this was with a static gap using 2 highly expensive WZr electrodes used for cutting.
