I recently got a couple of transistor modules from work that where scraped out of a frequency drive for a large motor. They are Fuji A50l-0001-0175/M. After doing extensive searching I found lots of web sites that sell them but not much other info other than the 600volt 125 amp ratting.
I have no experience with DRSSTCs yet but I'm thinking about building one. Dose any one know if this transistor module would work for a DRSSTC ?

If I ad to guess I'd say that, that thing would be slow due to size since the popular yet expired 40n60's are mini blocs and only go to around 150Khz I THINK, and my 247-to style hands around200kHz or so, and I'd also say thats an full bridge considering it has a (+) and (-) termins and it says 600v 125A TIMES 6. could be wrong though.

Are you sure it is an IGBT? I do not see any gate terminals on it, unless they are mixed in with the power terminals. My first guess would be that it is some kind of 3 phase bridge recitfier...

The 6DI120D-060 is an IGBT module containing six IGBTs in an arrangement like three halfbridges, but you'll have some difficulty finding data for it, not to mention replacing it when it cooks
It's very old, hence also fairly slow -- probably best to put this one in the museum and work with new components.

Hmm, that is good for three-fase oscilator. For more slow that is a IGBT they can make 240Hertz easy, so It can be usefull for a three-fase inverter with variable frequency
