Hi all, I was builded my first DRSSTC and it works very good! But I still have some problems, one of that is protecting my IGBT's from votage surge.
I was testing my drsstc when I noticed that and arc was forming on the other side of toroid, and PUFF, it happens. The arc has goed for the heatsink =/
I was thinking about it here, I forgot to put the TVS that I have bought too, but it will help to gets the IGBT survived when Arc Strikes?
I know, I should make a Strike ring, but I need to protect the primary too. I have a few 1.5KE220CA, Its double-sided, and for running on my drsstc I need two in series (because my bus is 300VDC)
