I was cruising around Ebay today, and stumbled across these awesome IGBTs. The guy is auctioning them off individually, and I believe there are seven in his 'for sale' listings.
I couldn't help but think that these would make an incredible DRSSTC, with a 300A continuous rating, but I don't know enough about them to make a final call one way or another, and I don't have the experience (or money dead ) to put these to good use anyway. So I figured if one of you (*cough* Steve Ward or Dr. Spark *cough cough* tongue) was so inclined, you may be able to put these bricks to very good use!

'henhuggers' seems to sell alot of brick IGBTs but he doesn't seem to like replying to my questions about shipping to Canada so I've never risked bidding on one of his items.

Those fuji IGBT's are very slow compared to cm300's... Although maybe it might just not matter in drsstc.

For anyone in USA I don't see a problem, these are really cheap for what you get Link2

I haven't seen any cm300's shippable to me in a while though. I now believe that it's best to heavily overkill your igbt's and then baby them, run them always under their ratings...

If I could get CM300's for $25 a piece that's what I'd do. Some say that they are too slow, but I don't buy it anymore, there just can't be a big difference between like 50 and 100kHz.

Reaching seems to use bricks for his medium size coils for long time and they seem to be just fine in most cases.
