This is really some lovely work considering your age, have you got any help building it from f.ex. your father?

I know its a cliche that we older ones likes to point out your young and it was good for your age, but at 15 I could damn well not build something as nice and complex by myself :)

Good job and a spun toroid will really suit it!

Haha well thanks. The only real help i got was from my father and all he helped me with was cutting the primary supports and top and bottom base. The only reason he helped me with that is because he doesn't let me use the band saw. All the electronics and wiring was done by me and really i am very very proud of my work and how well it came out.

Nice coil smile

Did you pay for all of this yourself?

I payed for most of it. I payed for the igbt's, bus cap, mmc, the pcb components and the gdt and ct ferrites. The rest i already had or my parents bought it for me. The igbt heatsink came out of a front projection tv, i already had the secondary wound, the copper tubing for the primary was left over from my sgtc and the various other things my parents bought for me.
