Here it is. My first VTTC. I hit 18", but the plate starts to glow with that much power in. I can run it at about 15 - 16" for a minute or two without noticing much plate color at all. I'm working on the staccato controller right now.

It was in the intro to the video. The polarity was wrong, and I had to have it up there to get anything out of the coil. I switched the leads around before I took the operation shots. It's down to about 4" above the primary now.
nice coil.. i watched your other vids (includeing the smaller jacobs ladder.. and you might wanna move the still outta shot next time :P are you a member of homedistiller.org?)

I haven't posted there in years though. I haven't ran a mash since I moved to a less rural area about 2 years ago. Sucks having close and nosy neighbors.
