Well it seems someone got a good deal...it went for $329.00 (with only one bid). If I didn't recently buy a semi-expensive scope, I would have put a bid in on it.

Doesn't this rack mount enclosure look impossibly small for an 80KV, 50ma power supply? And, there are no HV connectors at all on the back? Finally, doesn't it seem odd that a brand new 80KV, 50ma power supply would sell for $329, with only one bidder??
This appears to be only the "front end" control module for the actual HV power supply, which is a separate unit.

Yes, as far as I know that box is just an IGBT inverter that drives a separate multiplier stack. I've seen the stack part of one of those on Ebay before, so someone may still get lucky

I think you're right - that's only the inverter part of it. Although IIRC the same seller did also recently have a 50 kv, 50 ma rack mount unit (although it might have been a different manufacturer) that did have a HV output connector on it.
