Hi, I am testing here all setup of tesla coils at low voltage supply (12V)
With my circuit I can get about 1cm or sparks at a 120kHz secondary coil with antenna feedback and only with 12V in :D

I try to run it with a Feedback transformer that I winded with 1:55 turns with my old GDT Toroidal core (It was runned in my 400kHz SSTC's)
but it didnt work (I get a fluorescent lamp near the coil to see if its going high voltage on the secondary, but it gets no light).

I try to reverse the Transformer wires in the driver but it didnt work too.
Here is the schematic:

Soon I will make a Fullbridge SSTC of IRFP460 , I will post some results here :D

Try adding a resistor in parrallel with both D3 and D4 to ensure U1:A is biased halfway, 10k should do it.
May not make any difference , but thats the setup on my coil , using a torroidal ferrite with approx 50 turns as secondary base feedback, mind you mine doesn't do much at 12V Pri.
You may need a little more Pri power in for the feedback transformer to develop enough V, or maybee more turns on the feedback transformer.

Hmm, I will try to add some 10k resistor in parallel to the 1n4148 diodes.

About the voltage, I was thinking about it, but I dont know if it isnt too many volts at feedback transformer, I will try to get a scope to measure the voltagem on transformer out.

Later I will post the result.
