I have a Varian model Turbo-V60 turbomolecular vacuum pump in mint condition that i´d like to sell, below are some specs and pictures:

Varian V60 Turbo Pump with ISO 63 Inlet Flange KF-16 Outlet Flange.
Pumping speed: for N2 58 l/s, Ultimate pressure with rotary vane pump 5x10-9 mbar, Recommended Backing Pump 1.5-16 m3. Air Cooling available. Turbo pump designed for a wide range of applications in research industry, Space simulation, Thin film deposition, Ion source, Mass spectrometer, leak detection. The Varian V-60 Turbo Pump controller is needed to operate Varian V-60 Turbo Pump.

Some pictures: Link2

Rotational speed is about 75000RPM, but i´ve read around that it can ve as high as 90000RPM on this model, however i have no idea about how long it was used before i got it on ebay for around 400-500 USD.

Sale price: bidding, highest wins, auction time lets say until sunday.

I'm interested. Do you know how hard it is to get working without the turbo pump controller?

I'll start the bidding at 50 USD.

I started work on a driver for it, but as it apprached testing, it took an abrupt halt since i dident have a roughing pump handy, however i still have the schematics for the driver circuit was was working on, you need a 3phase sinewave source, adjustable from roughly 150Hz(atleast a frequency it can start reliably from) up to about 1250Hz.

Were there any other bids or did I win it? Sorry for the late reply, I am on vacation and my internet access is very limited.
