That seller is reputable, and his items are all good quality. I always stand by the fact its better to make things yourself, but a coil of wire is the same no matter how you get it. Only thing that makes me wonder is the over 6:1 H:D ratio; seems a bit high.
$33+shipping isn't so bad, but there's nearly 6 days left on that auction and my bet is it will go up. A lot. As it is now you could probably build it for a comparable price, and even more so if you use PVC.
EDIT: I should probably mention that I am a *little* inclined to dislike eBay auctions with exclamation points in the title...

Everything seems fine with that, but unless you really don't want to, i would wind the coil myself. For probably $20 you can get everything you need to do it yourself.

Yes, that secondary will match your transformer nicely, if that's what you meant.
A lot of people have an aversion to the whole "winding thousands of turns of super-thin wire" thing. I've always found secondary winding to be the easiest part, especially on SGTCs, where you use far less turns of thicker wire as opposed to most solid state coils. And I wind my coils by hand.
A coil like the one you linked to could be wound in well under an hour, which is a small percentage of the time you'll spend building the overall enclosure, MMC, topload, primary coil+stand, and various other spark gaps and EMI filters. Plus you get the added bonus of having it EXACTLY the way you want, instead of working around whatever this guy is selling.

I still haven't bought it because I need to see if I can't find a cheap magnet wire supply in the SF bay area. If I can find one, and I can get the wire for under 15 then I'll wind it.
It's probably 30% aversion to wiring, 50% money, 20% time that's making me want to just buy one.
But the fact that I can wind it to exact specs means I'll get optimal spark length, and with only 3 feet to work with...
