New VTTC

I decided with acquiring some doorknob caps to build a new VTTC.

I plan to use same tube like last time (it survived so many beating that i could not believe) i sold it in the end and its still working today.

However i didn't like that it was heavy, very heavy. Because of MOT and filament transformer.

I'm planning to make solid state MOT and same for filament transformer. This would make weight almost nothing. Did anybody ever go this route?
