So I was using youtube to upload all my music. However, Imutube (software for uploading high quality music videos) no longer works, youtube reencodes the videos to lower quality which are pretty useless for music.
For this reason I'm looking for a new site for uploading my music. It does not need to have video clips, but other people must be able to search for my tracks and see my profile. Also a "must" feature is real-time player with good quality stream. I also heard of some site where people can make donations to artists if they like their music.

How about Soundclick? There's also Jamendo, but that's more focused towards distributing whole albums by p2p.
I always thought people who used Youtube as a music player needed their heads examined, the quality has always been lousy, hacked or not. The Myspace player is almost as bad, though.

Almost all great music is still great after being mutilated by youtube so it is not a big problem. The advantage is that you can often find things that is very hard to find otherwise.
For example this: , I always thought they could not play well as a group, but I was obviously wrong.

Really? Until recently it was possible to upload full quality, 44k stereo high-bitrate music to Youtube using "Imutube". However it no longer works. This is what I mean by high quality (awesome track btw)
