Lets say you want to seel a patent:

Which is ready for production
More than 2 million $ invested in research and everything that goes with it. Including clinical researches, designer solutions, all necessary paperwork.
Extremely high profitable

How would you do it and where? Is ebay good for it? How would you get coverage of media (target market is US)

The reason of sale would be that author of it is at end of life span just one step before completing it and don't have strength to continue. .

I am joking, of course..

A new form of Viagra that cures obesity? :D

Seriously, read Don Lancaster's Case Against Patents before you go any further: Link2 Lancaster is a grumpy old S.O.B. with an axe to grind, but he raises some good issues you need to watch out for.

No its not viagra, superb weight loosing formula or anything like that scams. Its real health product targeted completly other way and its licensed medicine. There is more than 10 of top cardiologists and lung doctors standing behind it.

It really depends whether you're talking about a drug, an herb, or something else.

The cost to bring a drug to market in the United States is well into the billions of dollars. Clinical trials to get FDA approval involve many many thousands of people over several years. That pretty much limits your potential customers to very large pharmaceutical companies. I assume that in order to get their attention (or anyone else's), you will need peer-reviewed studies published in major medical journals about your drug.

Now, if we're talking about an herbal remedy, that's a different matter. The FDA has relatively little say in how natural products are manufactured and sold, which is good for you. The bad side is, none of the big drug companies are going to touch an easily copyable herbal remedy with a ten foot pole. Maybe one of the natural medicine companies would pick it up, but I have a hard time imagining them paying many millions for it.

If you're talking about something else, like a device, it depends how it operates. Something relatively safe, like a white noise generator to assist with sleep, won't be closely regulated by the FDA. On the other hand, a device with a mask that injects oxygen into your airstream as you sleep would be very very closely regulated by the FDA, so then you get back into all the costs involved with demonstrating it safety.

For all three cases, given the amount of money involved, it would be insane to not speak to a good paid consultant. Anything you pay, you will almost certainly get back tenfold.

Hello,

its combination of herbal remedy and drug, already FDA approved in 6 other countries except USA, in USA approved too. Currently 5 countries are standing behind it with their doctors and departments of health. Great product but as i said author cant push it now at end because she wont live long more unfortunately. Its not copyable product.

The documents of product have more than 15 kg. I think we will try to write auction for ebay. Just thinking how to get some kind of media coverage to not let auction go unnoticed

I dont think ebay is a very good way to go. Everyone is weary of many scams done on ebay. If millions have been invested, why not invest a bit more and advertise via 3am infomercials?

I agree with Chris Russell entirely. But I smell a rat. Why should someone at the end of an R&D program hand over to someone wth zero experience when there is backing by 10 top cardiologists. Even with an interruption due to poor health, there must have been a market in mind from the outset more than eBay.
Cardiologists don't just back things up without question. Here (Australia) we go on scientific evidence and randomised double blinded controlled trials where appropriate. Your budget does not indicate that you have that, so I have a healthy skepticism about your product. Of course I am happy to be corrected but the veil of commercial secrecy will prevent us from helping.
If it doesn't have patent backing then that should be the priority.
