Bethesda Research Laboratories model 250, works on 110-120 VAC line voltage and can be configured for 220 - 240 V as well. Tested and working perfectly. Output is up to 300 VDC full wave rectified. By adding a cap you can extend the range to ~450 VDC.
Has display for reading current and voltage.

Output current is :
Continuous : 500 mA Short time rating 1000 mA (1 A) (works fine but don't abuse it like this for hours)
Here is some more sites that sell them, but they ask 250 $
