Hi guys, Just would like some comments regarding an idea for a 3 phase inverter system. The frequency will be about 25Khz and its just to see if il gain any power advantages for a given size of the transformer. Im guessing a 1KW three phase transformer for this could be made extremely small, probaly about the size of a 100VA iron core type. I havent designed a transformer as if yet, but again like many of my projects its work in progress. however i do have a working simulation of the circuit. I have based it around 3 TL072 OP-Amps with a feedback network to get the desired phase shift.
Would there be any strange effects due to the high frequency field? I have calculated that if I supplied this current into a induction motor the speed would be immence, im just wondering what would be the effect upon ferrtie, I hope it doesnt start trying to rotate!
Well its all theroy at the moment, and if i ever make it, the power stage would need at least 6 or more igbts.
