* for some items, I cannot measure since I don't have the tools, but if you are interested, since my school has summer programs I can go there to get more accurate measurements.
calcium carbide under name "bangsite", one tube* here about one third to half full (tube shown when bought)
TV voltage tripler [unknown ratings] with over a foot of 20Kv wire attached.
[updated] HeNe laser tube, Working order, about 5mW - good driver included, but the HV out wire has a small portion of insulation removed from laser experiments... runs on 12V and come with connector built in for use with a wall wart (center positive)... also, it turns out that both mirrors are semi-transparent, so the laser comes out both ends (you can place a mirror on the "lower power" window to make it only come out one side)
an 6AL5 vacuum tube: just bought it at a local store for usage in an xray machine (as it appears to have the needed metallic coating on the top) but decided not to as my lead is currently in use shielding other materials.
sodium silicate solution, was originally 16 fl oz, but I used about a third of it*
a saitek cyborg evo joystick, fully functional, and good for components since it is a little old
a craftsman 3D sander, working, in box (comes with coarse discs, but changeable for finer)
[addition: 6/18/08]: I decided not to finish a marx generator I started (little low power for me, and my low high voltage supply had the transformer arc internally while trying to push it): it is of the following design: by using plastic terminal blocks to hold the caps (25pF @ 10kV, 12 in the blocks and I have ten others) and 1 MEGohm resistors [about 20 extra] are in place between each block for charging: but HERE is the design difference, to make adjusting the gaps easier, by only mounting one side of the blocks, the other side can "slide" and by having fixed electrodes on one side, they will all be evenly adjusted [note: I am not including electrodes since I was using rounded copper nails that I never got around to filing)... up is the entire assembly as noted, and the extra caps and resistors are below
ten 25pF 10kV ceramic caps
24 1 MEG-ohm resistors[i]
magnetic viewing film square, measuring 3 inches by three inches, there are some scratches but it still works (I will post a pic, but someone else has my camera right now)
two 808nm, 200mW [continuous rating] laser diodes in a TO-18 packaging @ 5.6mm, rated for a max of 2V... one of the diodes has never been opened, and the other has been opened, but never used [the leads are bent, but I do not know if it came in contact with static... I forgot how to test these without the driver, but I will if requested]... all electrical and optical information is included, as well as ONE laser radiation sticker (however, it says a max of 500mW for some unknown reason and is somewhat wrinkled... it is just thrown in with the first one out, unless requested otherwise)
one 74HC595, from motorola [if that matters to anyone]... I never used it, will come in resealable static bag
one CD4021 from RCA, will come in resealable static bag
one complete ~650nm, 200mW laser with focusing lens, runs on 9V battery... recently, the power has declined... possibly the pot on the regulator [LM317, which might also be the problem] was accidentally adjusted, but since it was set for max power (and I did not make it) I will not turn up the power to be on the safe side and I do not have access to good test equipment at the moment, but if requested it can be arranged at my school... happened after laser head had become detached (it is in a casing) while in storage for a period of time, so I don't know when or how it happened... will post more on this item if I can use my school faster... but as far as I can tell the laser head itself is fine
homemade photo emulsion (silver chloride and knox gelatin)... must sell fast before shelf life exceeded [NOTE: I do not know if it is shelf life that caused my last batch to go bad or not, as many people in the darkroom at my school are not very considerate of other's light safes, I will test if anyone is interested... will come in light safe container so box may be opened outside of darkroom... amber light safe, mostly UV sensitive)... enough to coat at least five 8x11 sheets [this is the minimum... being light sensitive, I have to measure in the darkroom, and the measuring tools besides that for developer, were taken for the summer by the photo teacher]
one 2x16 4 bit LCD with pin headers attached: I never used it, and bought it working... never saw abuse, it is a HD44780 based screen (I was told, but like I said, it was never used)
will likely decide to sell more soon... the pics of the objects for sale can be found HERE just click on projects, and the titles should be self explanatory (anything for sale says "for sale" in the description)
