Yes lots of stuff is more expensive here. BTW i did get the lid for my resin block, i was just wondering how you got the "lid" off to reveal the windings? Grinded it off?

I didn't reveal the windings. They're potted in resin that's impossible to remove. I think the piece of plastic that carries the terminals is stuck to the resin too.
