Does any one here have a comment on this? I've downloaded it, but I've been waiting to install it until I know it's worth it. I've actually been kind of surprised by the lack of commentary about it on the major social network sites.

Thats because everyone is using Vista and they are now unable to connect to the internet because their modem is unsupported. (Duh)
I heard it basically just combines all windows updates to date and adds a few things, nothing too special. The only red flag seems to be a new wave of compatability issues, much like SP2 had.
Overall I'd hold off on installing it for a little while, until more info is out about it. Atleast it sure doesnt seem like another SP1.
Any change to an operating system may trigger buggy drivers and software packages to fail even if they have worked perfectly for a decade. If you have no problems with the computer and you use important software that is no longer under active development it might be wise not to install SP3.
My laptop did not seem any different after installing SP3. The new files, checkpoint and uninstall ate about 400 MB of space.
