Well ever since i said to use 2 mots, i learned that you should use 4 mots.. I learned that the mots further double the voltage to 16kv. Matthew is sorry.... frown

So i heard... Go to ebay. You can get an mot for 20 bucks............................................. ............
I already have 4 mots... two more to go then just capacitors.
If you don't use 4 mots than apparently BOOM! I haven't tested it with less or more or at all really.

I believe that uses 4 MOT is because of tension, which already supports up to each MOT 4kv max, 4 in series would 16kv, excellent for the coil. cheesey

The peak of the source is about 11kv, 3 MOT would sure? tongue
