I would think you would have trouble sending mercury in the mail system anyway as it is hazardous.

There are specific sources for mercury but generally within the USA & Canada there are an enormous amount of restrictions. (Hg) is used in industry in some specific applications that allows the experimenter a chance to collect some. Personal Message me and I will let you know how to go about getting some.
