WEAR EYE PROTECTION! You can use sunglasses because there is a lot of UV light that it produced and you don't want to damage any part of your eye.
Really you should.
(I should get back into drawing arcs with MOTs)

I live in Texas.
Houston, to be exact.
Bout an hour and a half away from ya.

Tell ya what, I'm trying to get together with Logan Kennedy to have a Texas miniTeslathon.
I'll bring my 2 SGTC's and My SSTC, some Flyback toys, and possibly a coil gun if I can get the darned thing working.

Since there is no Texas Teslathon for us to go to, we prolly got ta make our own.

There are some dudes out in Pearland called Tesla Coils for Christ, I might look them guys up to see if they wanna do something as well.

Never know, with as many of us as there are, we might have just a small show in a park somewhere, or maybe even my garage.
Gods, my girlfriend hates the sound of my coils, how long would I sleep on the couch if we had like 20 of them buzzing at full blast. . . angry

Lemme know what ya think. . . .

I would have to see about it with my mom(sigh). I am too young for her to trust me,and i connot drive. But if i could go i haven't a tesla coil to bring(yet). Well not a pretty one anyway. I could bring me own vttc schema and an 811a vttc,my homemade transformer(flyback)along with my driver and my big rear projection screen flyback. Even my illegal fish stunner/killer. I will have to get back to you on that!

EDIT:I actually may get my mom to take me. If i get to go that will change my life. If i have the slightest chance of going i need to know were this will be and when. And i need to know if logan would mind. I am very srry if that was not an invite tongue

You're a Texan, you know we do things a little different down here.
I guess it might take a little planning.
I suck at planning, so I think I'll just start off by emailing all the folks that live in Houston first and see if they have a place to hang out, and if they wanna do something.

So, I guess it's a pipe dream right now.
But that doesn't mean it won't happen.
I just need to plan it out a little better.

Lemme get hold of all the folks first and see what they say.

Ohhhhh... I see. I guess i thought you and logan had already planned this "thing". Well if you ever do this and would like another person taking up space, just gimmie a holler.

I live in Baton Rouge (about 3 hrs away) and still have my coil from college hanging out in the closet. I bet I could get it working again with a little tinkering (haven't run it in 3 years). Also, one of my teammates that helped me build the coil lives in Pearland now and I'm sure he'd be game if you have an event in that area.

Be sure to let me know if you get something planned. I've never actually met anyone else who's built a coil!

Well if you(ultra) hear anything about this thing let me know. Just in case i do get invited to something like that i am starting to go overdrive on updating my coil. I made most of a rsg and i just need to make my capacitor or buy one and i have to finish up my primary.
