The aforementioned have contributed financially to the continuing triumph of 4hv.org. They are deserving of my most heartfelt thanks.
They say its only for law enforcement, but if you contact them, they in Wicked Laser fashion, will sell it to anyone AND guarantee it gets past customs or your money back!!!!

The only thing i don't understand how they are able to point a laser to an object travelling at 200MPH, with their bare hands. I cannot keep it stable and stiff using both hands in a pistol-like fashion because of natural hand shaking. Best accuracy 70cm on 200 meters on plain wall for me, while a well trained officer (with insanely high shooting accuracy) did get 40cm on 200meters, because the pointer is quite light. Planes are distant more than 1KM and more than 500meters when landing. How are they supposed to keep it pointed on the plane cockpit? It's almost impossible if you aren't close to the airport (in that case you are a moron...) with plane facing you during lift-off. Sounds a bit like overestimating the problem

Well, you don't have to hold it on target continuously. Even if the beam just rakes across the victim's eyes for a fraction of a second, it's still enough of a flash to leave them dazzled and distracted for a few seconds. If you're a pilot trying to execute a crosswind landing at night, those could well be just the wrong few seconds.
I've been "lased" by some kids with a cheap laser pointer from halfway up a high-rise tower block, and that's what happened to me.

don't forget that at several thousand feet, the beam diameter is probably on the order of several meters, if not more. Again, assuming you have a powerful enough laser pointer to even get that far. Laser pointers don't have good collimation.

Irresponsible morons, targeting planes during a such crucial phases like landing, the only phases that planes are vulnerable to lasers (close to ground). It is a repeating story, there is a consumer object with potential dangers, some morons use it the wrong way, end of the object for all people, this already happened for tazers , air rifles , now is happening for lasers, tomorrow maybe it will happen for camera flashes or other thing with "potential dangers"

Errrh, dont buy from wicked lasers, overpriced and their lasers are underspec most of the time. The photonic disruptor really is just a really out of focus laser. And yeah, i dont think they will ban laser modules, since the idiots that shine em at planes most likely dont have the knowledge on how to make them work. I'm suprised they even know how to press the button actually

Uh, no. Wicked Lasers is actually one of the most reputable dealers out there. When you order a 120mW laser, you get 120mW. I have almost 15 lasers i've purchased from them since they first started selling lasers way back when. I've also verified their power output at work in our laser lab and everyone in fact came in a bit higher than their advertised value. And this is measuring just the pure green portion of the emitted spectrum for the DPSS lasers i have. Most competitors cheat and actually measure their DPSS lasers using the combined IR and green light emitted by the laser, so yes, in fact, the total output meets the proper specification, but only part of that is actual "green" emitted light.
Now that you stated "don't buy from Wicked Lasers", please quote your source to back-up your information. Simply saying, "errr" ain't gonna cut it.

Uh, yeah. Thats a mouthful. Thanks for making that very succinct point. You definitely nailed that one!
