As 4hv members , with common interests in electronics, high voltage and so on why not create an online journal with articles published by members and referred by other members? It would be a valid place to search some interesting projects, similar to the "Project thread" but with more information and conclusions. I know it is similar to the wiki, but the wiki is more dispersive, the articles instead will be more specific and more focalized on a specific subject. It can be called "Journal of hobbystic electronics" or other fancy names. Maybe i was not original, I don't know.

Jolly good idea =o! But its not gona be easy to get it up i guess, but readin what others have actaully done is more usefull than theory/calculations etc ( ofc thats good too but it doesnt say wether or not its gona work in practice) at least thats what i think, which is why i think its such a g00d idea ;>

No!!!!! :) Don't fall into the trap of building things from "what people say"! Then you'll never really understand the most important part, which is why is works. A lot of things on this site are made through the "brute force" method, which is fun cause things blow up and make smoke!, but doesn't give complete insight into the engineering workflow.
The ultimate goal is to understand a problem in four realms: theory, simulation, prototype, and the differences between the previous three.
Also, math can be boring for some, but simulation and building are more fun. Try not to just jump into building without the first two.

That's why articles would help. I'm currently writing an article titled "Design, construction and testing of a 5-stage reluctance accelerator". After finished i will post in a thread for searching someone for referring it.
