I first saw this on another motoring website, and the promise of a "250kW home charging station" made me fear the worst excesses of BS. But the car itself looks promising.
In particular, check out the new NanoSafe lithium batteries: How long before I can buy these off the shelf to make my own EV conversion? :|

They don't seem to claim anything extraordinary about the car, it is no secret that modern batteries have advanced significantly compared to what you find in an average laptop.
Reading between the lines I would say that they have not actually built the car yet so I would not expect to see one any time soon.

Interesting technology. I wonder if it is derived from the same sort of structures used for ceramic superconductors?
The main issue is going to be cost. Big deal if a cell stores 4* as much volumetric energy as a conventional Li-Ion, if it costs 5* as much then it will be uneconomical.
Recharge time is not the issue here, energy transfer is. Last time I checked, the main hold up in EV technology was the ability to dump enough energy safely into the cell(s) in the 1-2 minute typical refill time to be useful.
My ideal hybrid EV design would be one of those high voltage "ultra-supercaps) based on high K dielectric materials (presumably also somewhat leaky over time) slowly charging a bank or two of high capacity Li-NIon cells (one main and one reserve) thereby solving both problems at once :)
/me used to work with solar energy systems, where he was forever replacing conventional NiMH cells due to bad circuit design cooking them over time.
