Well, to my delight(and hopefully not your dismay) I'll be getting back soon to the forum finally. I've been gone this last long while because of school, vocational school, touring northern C.A. with my team manager(skateboarding) and some rather nasty home life issues that will soon be resolved once and for all as I'll be moving out of my folks home in 21 days, when I turn 18 *w00t*. I haven't at all forgotten my projects, and I have a new pneumatic cannon finished, an acetone based soda can refrigeration system nearly complete, and have started gathering parts for a super incredibly powerful 3/4hp electric "car" complete with gearing, transmission, and of course an electronic motor speed control system. I have been really REALLY swamped with work this past year, and at one point I had 11 hours of class everyday not including homework, and 2 hours of travel to get from school to school on the train. But it is all finally starting to pay off, as I got a job, finished out high school and my night classes, and am now left with a measly 3 hours of morning HVAC-R vocational schooling a day. So I'll be frequenting the forums more often again soon, after my move. Hope to hear from you guys!
-Dan
And, by the way, for those of you who remember my 1kv coil, I have put it together for its final assembly, and is running better than ever. It can run now for about 2 minutes straight with no SG cooling and hit its new best arc length a few weeks ago of 7.5". Not bad IMO for 30 watts, eh?

Sounds like your life sucked for a while, fortunately things seem to be improving! I can't wait see to see some of these projects, and it'll be good to have you back. In the meantime hang in there.
