Hi guys. A friend of mine has about 12 of HGTG30N60B3D IGBTs so i was wondering if they are good for a DRSSTC. I see that most people use the A4D version of this IGBTs (made for SMPSs). The B3D version is slower so are they good for a DRSSTC, and if so what frequency would you recommend Cheers Huben

Yes, these will work fine for DRSSTCs, although you need to ensure good thermal performance (i.e. good thermal interface with very low thermal impedance) for proper operation.
