Viewing over here (southern California) was pretty poor since it was all cloudy, but the moon did peek through the clouds a few times.

Took a pic of the moon while it was fully eclipsed, it is orange because of the light from the sun shining through the earths atmosphere. Think of it like a sunset being projected onto the moon tongue

I was doing an online test when my brother came in and told me about it, I got outside just in time to see the end of it I think, didn't get any pictures though.

All three jpegs are ffrom last nights eclipse. the gif is from 2004

the cloud cover blocked the beginning of the eclipse, but it cleared up big time later on. Did anyone happen to see the sattelite? i heard it was visible at some time before the eclipse.

It's too bad my Canon 400D hasn't come in yet, because the eclipse was crystal clear here in South Jersey.

I would of taken more pics but I was to cold (it was -18F here in Minnesota and I can't run the camera with gloves on...)

I had the same problem, my camera's LCD was getting cold enough to have ghosting and I had to go inside ever 5 min.
