ive always wanted to do this and i think now is the time to make a sstc COMPLETELY from salvidged components from tv's computer monitor's atx power supplys except the secondary in this case im using and i want to design it based on the oscillator to drive the flyback transformer on a tv circut and that is what im not sure how to do.

It would probably be easier to use a generic buffer chip from a monitor to serve for a high impedance antenna input. The antenna feedback could run a discrete driver of sorts to drive the main fet. The only good fets I've found in monitors are IRF630 equivalents, or 200V devices with rather low current ratings. You can still make a good SSTC though, especially if you go with class E.

right i was going to go with class e and i poked around at some tv boards and i found this and i think that will work and now i have to figure out some way of building a discrete driver to operate in the 400khz rainge

Two small signal transistors are all you need for a single IRF630 gate at 400kHz. 2N3904 / 2N3906 or similar should do. I got away with a BD139/40 totem pole running an IRF630 1MHz faster than you will be driving yours.
