Hi all, I build my first good sstc (a mini one), that can give 4-7cm sparks. Ok good, I started to plan the Audio Modulation
First I have tested puting the Audio on the 555 Interrupter FM In, it not worked good, I was think that because the 555 In Impedance. I grab one of my Audio Impedance Match Transformers, same like used in Car Amplifiers (To Match the 2 Ohms impedance to 100k of transistors), and put on the FM. Now its looking good than before, but I get too much noise and lower frequencies get a big sparks, and get out the sound of higher frequencies.

What can I do for better modulation? Modulate direct with the coil frequency (with a PLL)?
