I have succesfully ran two DC flybacks in serie using a halfbridge to 4:1 xfmr and 6 turn primary on each flyback of thick insulated wire. However the fets in my bridge got quite hot for no apparent reason. I thought the "mazilli"/ zvs driver would handle this better. So here is my idea with the ZVS driver:

The isolation xfmr secondaries and flyback primaries are wound with thick insulated wire, which I've tested to 50kVDC. Is there any reason why it would not work as in the schematic?
Has anyone tried to substitue the passive pullup resistors in the zvs driver for gate drivers (TC442x etc.)? If so how well did it work?
And a last question: In the past I've had problems with parasitic oscillations in zvs driver (frequency suddenly skyrockets but nothing is damaged). I had the resonant cap close to the FETs. Are there any other ways I can stop this from happening?
Thanx
