Yep, I was just wondering what would happen if you drive a flyback with antenna feedback like an sstc and the interrupt it? This guy did the antenna thing:

So has anybody tried it? Would the results be better or does interrupting apply only on tesla coils?

It is very easy to push flybacks into CW voltage and power levels where they quickly self destruct.
So I don't see much merit in interrupting, unless you want beeper audio modulation or something.
