I found a company in my country produce GDTs, they have various types with ultra-low leakage inductance as well as high isolation between windings.

heres the link here

I am trying to sample "LSGDL100100", which ranges from 100~500khz with only 0.5 μH leakage inductance. Hope they will send me...

Thats really not that great. You'll do much better winding them yourself. 500nH is a lot of leakage.

I'm sorry...I just too excited when bump into that pages... angry
Yes. 500nH is really big. Mine is around 160nH cheesey

They end with high leakage inductance because they need lots of turns to cover their specified frequency range, while you can usually get much better if winding a GDT for exact frequency you need with only little headroom. That's why I always advise using lowest number of turns to saturation, simply because it will give lower leakage inductance.

Using a 2-cored mini coax cable like those used for audio connections also helps greatly in reducing leakage inductance. You use the cores as secondaries and braid as primary, now you have your secondary coils virtually ''inside'' your primary coils.

It may not although have good standoff of higher voltages (700V+) like wire wound GDT.

Yes, this method is superior at maximizing your coupling factor.
