Yes. Nuts. But nothing compared to some of this guy's videos:

http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=Kamikadze2009

I bet many people wonder about doing this kind of thing, but it takes a whole different type to actually do it! suprised Fairly disappointing, really, that this is up on YouTube. I really hope the people who are inclined to do this kind of stuff just live vicariously through this guy's videos instead of using them as proof that this stuff is in any way "safe", but I'm sure I'll be disappointed frown

Cheers,
Aaron, N7OE

Few times I wanted to gather all those dumbest ideas from youtube and post here, but I always decided not to for good of all.

Reading all the comments makes me even more sad.

This not only stupid, but sad to see happening. I wonder how many times he threw up a wire and the wire didn't short, or pulled away from the ground when thrown. He probably had to try it a few times to get the video. When he left the wires from the failed attempts hanging, I hope a young child doesn't wander in there, touch a wire that he left hanging, and die. I hope that his successful attempt didn't kill power to a traffic light and cause a fatal accident elsewhere in the neighborhood. The feds in this guy's home country should track him down by youtube and charge him with vandalism and public endangerment. Some people need a little pen time to get them thinking, maybe this guy is beyond hope ... Sad.

Watching the videos where grass burns after the blast or tangling those wires into trees.... everybody would wonder how do those summer fires start.

Really, somebody could use these videos as evidence, I bet you could earn a prison for such things at least in some places.

Yes. When I first ran into these about a month ago, I confess I was genuinely amused, if also a bit sickened. I held off posting them here for the same reason, and I have poster's remorse now. It may be best if this thread gets the sack, actually. I don't think anybody here would want this kind of stuff associated with 4hv.

Cheers,
Aaron, N7OE

These guys who do stuff like this should tie that piece of copper wire around their neck mad

I wonder how many distribution network failures have caused by people throwing things on wires
