Hi!
Friend of mine owns welding machine repair shop and he has following igbt modules laying around for few years (brand new) http://www.ineltron.de/english/mitsubishi-data/IGBT/CM100DY-12H.pdf
Im going to make drsstc sooner or later (must first get some skills and proper experience with sstc)
I have good opportunity to get 2-4 those modules almost for free Are these any good for proper drsstc or am i just looking for nice paperweights?

Those will work just fine for a low frequency DRSSTC (maybe <60khz). They arent as fast as small new IGBTs, but are still faster than the CM300s and CM600s that the bigger DRSSTCs use. Jimmy used the CM150 version of that IGBT and got like 8 feet from a pair of them (took about 1500A i think!).
