I have my Athlon 2600+ running at 2800+ and the memory at 356Mhz, not that impressive, but the fans are all turned right down (for quietness) and it's stable.
I might as well just leave it at stock, but that would be boring.

My main system is a p4 2.26gig I have the fsb clocked up to 600MHz from 533, putting the clock at 2.55gig. I can run it stable up to about 2.8gig but I have to increase the ram timing and I like having all the timing at minum(cas 1.5 etc.).
My webserver box is a celeron 366MHz that I have overclocked by 50% to 550MHz. It has run like this for quite some time - around 7 years. So much for everyone saying that 50% overclock will dramitcaly reduce the life expectancy! Wish I could do that with modern systems. The old celeron will actually out-boot my p4 into windows, and with 512Mb ram, ultra 66 hard drive (7200rpm) and a vodoo3 3500 video card it rocks at quake 3 and unreal tournement (can pull 80-100 frames /sec on 1024x768 with all the graphics cranked, some levels even higher). That being said my more modern p4 cant pull those kinda frame rates with UT2004 with 800x600 and most the graphics cranked down I think the ol Intel BX is the most efficient chipset ever made imo.
