Hi all, I have found a TL494 in one Backlight LCD Inverter circuit here, its SMD and its working.
I plan to use it, but my question is:
On the datasheet I see 1 to 300kHz frequecy operation, but it works with higher frequencies? And I can use the DBL494 for that use? (Its like TL494, but its not SMD, its DIP, It can be found on computer power supply)

No, I don't think you'll be able to amke it work a tmuch more than 300kHz. And I think you'll be much better to use feedback instead of open loop control for a SSTC.
