Hi everybody
I making very small (5Kg all sstc) and powerfull (1KW) SSTC, and there is some problem. All the inside of plastic box is covered with aluminium tape and grounded.Unaccountably the box gets warm, though mosfet are quite cold and refrigerating.how primary and secondary is on the box ,the box's heating ,when i take down the primary and secondary off the box,the box's not heating. How to eliminate the heating when the primary and the secondary is on the box? Maybe the induction heating of primairy is guilty
How to eliminate that heating?

Cut stips in the foil, it might stop any currents that are induced. Although there is probably a better option.

Mount a some fans on the inside. You can get them in all voltages and sizes.

I still think it's kind of like an induction heater, you need to either take the primary coil away from the foil, or cut slits in the foil to stop currents from circulating in it. Someone else may have a better suggestion, but I think that would work. IIRC waverider or blackplasma had a HF coil with a copper ground plane right under the coils, and he cut strips in the copper to stop this.

I agree. Move the primary from the box. Not good. Even if you did manage to keep it cool from fans, you still have those losses which are probably pretty considerable.
