is there any [easy] way to isolate and take away a flyback driver from a full circuit? want to preven buying unneccesary things

If you mean use parts within the TV to build your flyback driver, yes it is possible, although not nearly as good as a 555 or ZVS driver.

You will need to find the Horizontal Output Transistor (HOT). It will be on a large heatsink, probably near the flyback. This can be used in place of the 2n3055 transistor in the single-transistor flyback driver circuit. Don't expect a huge increase in performance, tho.

Yes that is the driver. If you intend to do this, try not to detach the transistor from its heatsink. Chances are you will need this. The driver will still be very low power, inefficient, unstable, and generally bad, but what the hell, you get what you pay for. In this case, nothing.

Of course, theres nothing wrong with that. I too used this driver for a few months, and now Ive graduated to a powerful ZVS that can pump 600W into a flyback and have the heatsinks only get lukewarm. :)
