I need to find a smaller cap first the flyback gets WAY to hot
and ill have to rewind the primary for 12v (i think it worked best at 4+4turns) because i only have one good 12v battery, the other one was from my UPS.
I do have two good 300w AT PSUs with 15A 12v line does anyone know how to put them series?

You can series 2 PC power supplies by cutting the green ground wire on one of them, and making sure that the cases do not touch (one will be floating at 15v).
But it seems like if it is getting to hot on 24v you should be able to just run it off 15v and use the same number of primary turns/primary cap?
