I scored a Panasonic MO yesterday, hoping to find some iron and a 1uF cap in there, but it was the new switcher type. Cool as they are, I don't really have the inclination to add another type of project to my existing poly-projects, so anyone can have it for the price of the postage, I'm in the UK.

The microwave part was said not to be working. I didn't power it on or do any fault finding, just stripped it. It may be the switcher at fault, though there doesn't appear to be any charring on the board or insulation, or loss of vital blue smoke from the big black heatsunk things.

If there are any prospective takers, I'll weigh it and estimate a price. If not I guess I'll put it in a box and dig it out again in 10 years time.

I'm interested, if it's not taken yet. How much would shipping to Norway be?

It's about 700g, which will be 900g packed. That's £4.94 surface mail (2-12 weeks is their delivery aim!!) or £5.38 airmail (3-5 days) - hmm, decisions, do you want it Christmas 2007 or 2008? If you are still interested, we can PM address and Paypal details.
