Dont know do you remember me, but i come back. As always i still enjoy Tesla coiling, induction heaters and many similiar projects.

I was disapeared from scene for some time... I meet one little girl and married, so happy enjoying life. Until i had motorcycle accident at speed over >200 kmh and busted my internals verry heavy. Next stage of my life was hospital, surgeons, needles, tubes to fight for life.

With my loved wife next to my bed i managed to fight off and survive, yeah smile. Now im family man... Here is some random photos.

Im back now in scene and want to show you some my recent projects. Since in only one here wich can do a Tesla coil proper i was contacted by Tesla museum in Smiljan (Nikola Teslas birth house) to make a Tesla coil for display. Photos are included. And then again one exactly same i replicated for History museum of Croatia. You can see my custom made high voltage transfromer (10 kV 100 mA)

I invested in my lab and now have some serious equipment PSU, DMM-s, Osciloscopes, Frequency generator... and many other labratory instrument. Im still ocassionally building TC-s for schools, museums, universities... Even i make test equipment for goverment electronics instutute amazed. There is some photos of 1.2 W DPSS laser i custom made for them.

Here is also my latest work at audio modulated SSTC (Tl494).

Tomorrow i will post photos of SSTC im building as demo coil for myself, all is made beautiful since luckily i have some talent for esthetics too when need :)

Enjoy these photos, and dont ban me again cry

There is even photo of 5 minuttes electric mouse catcher cheesey

Hey, I'm new there, so I won't remember you wink But I'm glad you managed somehow from this accident. Once time I burned my eye ball and had *fun* in hospital. It was scary and depressing, I have had even a injecting my own blood into eye. If you had more worse, I can't imagine how big nightmare it was. Are you fine totally? My eye is still a slightly red, but the vision is same as before accident, so I had a goddamn luck. People, *do* use googles..

About mouse catcher, it reminds that I have to build a bug zapper for cockroaches. In night a insane amount of those annoying bugs comes out in searching for foods. Yeah, I will definately enjoy killing them cheesey

Ouch this eyeball sounds even worse than my problems. Im fine 50%, there is still stay internal little kidney bleeding but it will recover and i dont know name of second organ in English wich is messed up seriously. Its organ wich is "bank of blood".

I have lived to seen how guy when cutting with dremel piece of cutting blade flied and gone so deep in his forhead that serious surgery was need. From that time i always use complete face protection when i work with dremel, cutting blades and similliar. And esepciall sharpnell care is needed when pushing IRFP-s to their limit tongue

Hey nobody coment do you like Tesla coil i built for Nikola-s birth house cry

Long time ago i made a bug zapper wich first created spark trough it body and then dscharged 300 V, 900 uF electrolytic trough spark channel. That was some BANG amazed .

Winding my personal SSTC secondry will post promised photos tomorrow. So funny when somebody come to see sparks and i dont have a TC...

Welcome back Kreso. Your Tesla coils and other electronics look great! Also, it is good that you survived your devastating accident... Definitely one of those life lessons that needs to be heeded....

Since your post seems more like a greeting than a technical discussion focussed on Tesla coils, I hope you do not mind if I exercise "Moderator prerogative" and move it to General Chatting where this general discussion can continue.

Cheers!

The spleen?

Ouch, that must have been a terrible crash. It's amazing how bad of a beating the human body can take and still recover...

Glad you're ok. There can never be too many tesla coilers, it would be a pity to lose one wink

Hello, a guess. Spleen, well bladder exploded too but they fixed it so spleen is now on priority list. Spleen maybe i will need to remove later.

Thanks to mods to move it to appropriate topic. Soon i will post SSTC photos to appropriate forum.

Since I am a bike freak and own motorcycles since I learn to walk, I have to ask these question:

What happen to the bike?

Where you wearing a helmet?

How long where you on bikes before accent? They say the average is 2 years before the first broken bone.

Have you taking any riding skill classes before getting on the road such as Link2 or Link2

Yep, i have been on my back for about two years with broken legs, arms and other things.

First thing after I got my cast cut off was take the bike apart, get it painted and get back on the bike. Still riding now (40 plus years now) , but every time I ride, could be my last day of life. This is the first thing they tell you in riding skill class, you could get killed or hurt riding; however, before you ride you have to accept that you may die. If your kids and wife can accept that, then time to ride. Of couse here in Az. we can ride all year and we have bikes everywhere…mostly Harley’s as there is only three paint shops around the world that paint for Harley’s, and one of those paint shops in just around the corner from me (Guess where I get my bikes painted at as some have tins there now for a wild $4,000 paint job of skulls – will post pics new week once tins come back)

Cheers,
ch

Hello i will anwer your questions.

Bike frame broke in 2 pieces and engine bent midle of frame somuch that it was sitting where was back tire supposed to be.

I had kidney belt, neck protector, spine armor, full leather suit, gloves, boots, helmet. All top qulality. Riding skill classes dont exsist in my country.

Im started at age of 12 to go with 50 ccm Honda to school and contunued to top until this time. I rided more than 10 bikes with this years. I had 3 accidents. First one was in age of 12 with 50 ccm race bike (without helmet) i smashed in van that was driving drunk and pass on red (thanks for insurance smile ). I smashed my head for 3 weeks of intensive care. With 14 with Yamaha SR125, just slided on wet road . Just slided little, no damage to me or bike verry much.
And now this last one.
