Can anybody suggest a cheap (yeah, right) laser printer with mirror image printing capability?

Flip over the transparency?

The old HP and Brother series with PS I tend to like.

Surely any printer will do mirror image printing, if you flip the document using some sort of editing program before printing it.

If you're making PCBs, any PCB software worth anything should let you print things out mirrored six ways to Sunday. Flipping the transparency is not recommended as the ink should be next to the photoresist for best sharpness.

I got a laserjet 4 for 10 dollars at the state marketing and redistribution center (aka state dump). They had more than 50 there. Works like a dream. Maybe your state has one?

Mine does - I've just been there after reading your last post!

As unbelieveable as it sounds, it was also a laserjet 4 suprised but I couldn't grab it for fear of killing myself (it was on a top level shelf). Might go later in the week.

See my thread to see what I did pick up though!

I think the sudden infux of the LaserJet4's is because HP no longer supports them. According to the IS people where I work, you can't get parts for them anymore and they're getting rid of them. Unfortunately, I cannot get them to give me anything. I can't believe they actually pay people to take stuff away and they won't let me have anything, no matter how nice I am.
