Hi all.

Apparently

suggests that the battery is my problem but I am not convinced as there are some anomalies in the power supply such as not generating the appropriate Sb5V when asked.

they do however spin up the fan when voltage is applied to +12V, but none of the other lines work.

Not having any spares available to test, was looking into making a Polymorph replacement with some extra features such as a "short out battery connectors" button.

Has anyone found a cheap source of Mac PRAM batteries, as Â£7 is extortionate!
