..and shipping took only 6 months from Taiwan to Finland. It was promised to be shipped in few weeks.

Here it is, just unpacked and starting to remove protective greasing

Some workpiece mounting hardware..

rotary table..

dividing head..

ISO40 taper..

And some end mills

I need to do some connections (3~ power and pressurized air). Whole machine is under heavy layer of protective grease which needs to be wiped away. Although shipping took over 6 months and distance was almost 5000 miles (8000km) machine got only minor damages. One bent handle and few scratches. It was very cheap and surprisingly well constructed for this kind of machine.

This machine has proved my point that you can get decent tooling for cheap price if you got lucky. (At least i feel very lucky with this machine) Im looking forward to make some neat RSG wheels and other HV related parts in near future :) Will post some pictures when i get that thing running.

Damn, that's nice! How much did it cost? Just shipping it must have cost a fortune!

Holey buckets, that looks great! Just looking at it makes me want to carve a whole car, piece by piece.

It seems to be hinting that even a lame hacker like me could make cool stuff, if only I had sufficiently advanced tools to hide the fact my fabrication skills really suck.

About how much did it cost, anyway?

wow.... sweet! really sweet!

But you don't need that to make RSGC's, I've done it with a drill press and its really stable. I have pictures of it here and there.

I'd like to know the price tag too, you got a ton of nice accessories and im curious what that adds up to.

made on a drill press with a cheapo milling table attachment: Link2

ISO 40 taper in a manual mill? Very nice, should make tool changes a lot faster.

suprised

I wish I had that kind of money to play with mistrust

You must have some other use for it than just hobby projects. right?

Still, very nice.

Yep, it is not bought for making only HV related stuff, actually we have small family company which deals with all kind of product development and i do almost all machining work when we are building prototypes.

13k€ is a butt load of money but still that was very cheap compared to similar machines from USA or UK
