So i just got a new Ti-84 plus Silver Edition for school this year, and I am trying to install MirageOS on it. Now TI DeviceInfo says I have 23kb of free ram, and mirageOS's website says the file is only 16kb. However, when I go to file properties (in windows) I see the file's size on disk is 40kb, while "Size on device" in the TI tab is almost exactly 16kb (this is all talking about the .8xk file that is actually sent to the calculator.
My question is why do I get an "insufficient memory" error when trying to send this file to the calculator?
I've been just dragging and dropping it into the TI device explorer, which initiates a transfer, which fails. Apparently nobody else has this problem because I can't find anything about it. I'm probably just overlooking something obvious.
Any one done this before?
